EasyPowerCompany is a specialized enterprise that develops and implements advanced solutions for analyzing the performance, profitability, production costs, and carbon footprints of power plants and industrial facilities. By leveraging these solutions, the company aims to maximize performance and minimize energy loss in industrial processes where heat and power are critical. Founded in February 2022 by CEO JANG SEOKWON, EasyPowerCompany is redefining efficiency in the energy sector.

As a premier energy analysis firm, EasyPowerCompany’s solutions can be integrated across various industrial sectors to analyze processes and enhance efficiency. For instance, the technology allows for the quantitative identification of degrading equipment, precise cost accounting for multi-product plants (such as combined heat and power plants producing electricity and steam), and the allocation analysis of carbon emissions.

“Existing products often stop at performance status monitoring. They lack the capability to pinpoint specific degradation components or calculate the associated financial impact”, said CEO Jang.

“EasyPowerCompany identifies exactly which components among thousands are underperforming and provides quantitative data on the resulting financial loss. This allows operators to make informed decisions on equipment improvements and achieve substantial reductions in operational costs.”

EasyPower’s primary clientele includes major power generation companies, Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), facilities involved in the production and consumption of heat, steam, and electricity, and energy diagnostic firms. The company actively drives sales through technical exhibitions, on-site briefings, and specialized seminars. Additionally, EasyPowerCompany plans to collaborate with professional training institutes, as its solutions are highly effective for educational purposes regarding power plant and energy equipment performance.

Reflecting on the company’s origins, CEO Jang shared his vision: “While developing performance monitoring systems at a research institute, I became convinced that if we could pinpoint the root cause of performance degradation and analyze the resulting profit-loss ratio, we could directly calculate revenue fluctuations tied to plant performance. By integrating Exergy Analysis—based on the Second Law of Thermodynamics—into our systems, we developed the performance and profitability analysis technology that the industry demands. I founded EasyPowerCompany to leap beyond simple monitoring and provide a solution that truly enhances operational efficiency on the ground.”

Since the company’s inception, Jang has found great motivation in key milestones. “It is incredibly rewarding when our products are validated by national testing agencies, when clients show keen interest in our tools, and when positive feedback leads to follow-up orders for further development”, he noted.

Looking ahead, EasyPowerCompany aims to become a pioneer in 'One-Cycle Performance Management.' “Our goal is to implement a comprehensive system where our performance models diagnose degradation, and our profitability models handle cost and carbon emission analysis,” Jang emphasized. “We are committed to growing into a leading enterprise that offers a complete cycle of performance monitoring, analysis, financial auditing, carbon tracking, and professional education.”
