LifeScape, The Innovator Behind ‘itda,’ the AI Solution Bridging Furniture, Spaces, and Sellers
Under the philosophy of “Transforming the scenery of daily life to change the landscape of living”, LifeScape is a tech startup dedicated to resolving content production bottlenecks for furniture and home furnishing companies using generative AI. By merging professional field experience in construction engineering and spatial planning with domain-specialized AI capabilities, LifeScape is leading the AI Transformation (AX) of the furniture industry. The company was founded in June 2023 by CEO Lina Kim.

The company’s flagship solution, ‘itda,’ is a platform that connects furniture, spaces, sellers, and AI. With just a single photo of a furniture piece, the solution generates high-quality visual content optimized for that specific item. Beyond simple background replacement, ‘itda’ maintains the unique details of the furniture while proposing spatial arrangements that align with the brand’s specific tone and manner. LifeScape defines this as “Visual Content Infrastructure”, visually manifesting the exact mood a brand intends to communicate.

The competitive edge of ‘itda’ lies in its “Furniture Domain-Specific Context” and “Optimization for Business Operations”. Unlike general AI models or broad e-commerce solutions, ‘itda’ is a vertical solution specialized for furniture. It ensures 100% preservation of the original product while achieving physical consistency in lighting, shadows, and surrounding props. Furthermore, the solution is designed to understand the entire value chain of furniture sellers—from content planning and branding to product detail pages and short-form video (GIF) creation—making it an indispensable tool for practical business use.

LifeScape’s business model focuses on an enterprise B2B approach, aiming to evolve into an AI Agent. The company plans to diversify its revenue streams through premium plans linked to branding consulting, API integration for major brands, and the launch of private label (PB) products to secure end-user behavioral data. Notably, LifeScape is enhancing its video generation capabilities (GIFs and short-form content) to provide a one-stop solution for every touchpoint in furniture content marketing.

Regarding global expansion, LifeScape is prioritizing the Asian market, where the furniture industry is substantial and the demand for digital transformation is high. The company is already building local networks, including participation in the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Shanghai, the world's largest furniture exhibition, to increase its market share in the Asia-Pacific region—the global hub of furniture production.

LifeScape has secured pre-seed investment from TeamSparta Inc. and is currently in the midst of its seed funding round. In conjunction with this, the company is targeting the TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) to recruit top-tier AI engineering talent and expand its technical infrastructure for global growth.

“Our goal is to reach a point where it’s natural to ask a furniture brand, ‘You mean you’re not using itda yet?’” said CEO Lina Kim regarding her future plans. “In the e-commerce market, visuals translate directly into revenue. We want to create an environment where furniture brands can be liberated from the pain of content production and focus solely on developing exceptional products.”
