Hyojeong Yang, CEO of aeacbio
-Data-Driven Precision: AI analyzes individual skin conditions through simple surveys and facial photography to provide real-time, tailored skincare.
-On-Demand Customization: Reflects real-time variables such as skin concerns, changes, location-based weather, and overall health status to dispense the optimal formula at any location where the device is installed.
-Scalable Infrastructure: Built on the core vision of “All Eat, All Care” and “Personalized in Real Time”, the company aims to expand into customized healthcare, nutrition, and IV therapy.
The company’s flagship product, ‘BeautIT,’ is an innovative solution where AI analyzes a user’s skin condition through a simple questionnaire and facial images. It provides real-time, customized skincare at any location where a BeautIT device is installed, reflecting daily skin concerns, changes in the user’s condition, location-based weather variations, and health status.
“The device’s internal cartridge system is composed of base formulations and high-concentration functional ingredients, allowing users to adjust active components to maximize desired effects”, explained CEO Hyojeong Yang. “Furthermore, a single device allows multiple users to access products customized specifically for their own skin. In simple terms, it works like an inkjet printer, realizing different combinations as needed. Currently, we are preparing for installations in spaces with shower facilities, such as gyms, prior to entering the home market. Following a Proof of Concept (PoC) this year, we aim for an official launch next year.”
BeautIT’s primary competitive edge is its ability toprovide real-time, customized skincare that adapts to the user’s immediate state and environment. While traditional cosmetics require consumers to choose from pre-made products, BeautIT connects AI-driven diagnosis and analysis with device-based precision dispensing to flexibly apply functional ingredients as needed. It also offers a more cost-effective way to selectively use functional skincare products while ensuring convenient and hygienic skincare management in public spaces like gyms without the need to carry personal skincare kits.
Currently in its pre-launch stage, aeacbio is sharing its development journey through Instagram and blogs to engage with future users. The company is also actively participating in domestic and international exhibitions, startup programs, demo days, and accelerator programs to validate market response.
Moving forward, the company plans to communicate with consumers through content focused on actual usage results and skin improvement.
The aeacbio team consists of CEO Yang, CTO and Co-founder Seung-wan Kim, the Head of R&D, AI researchers, designers, and legal advisors. The team manages specialized roles across technology, commercialization, design, and legal advisory matters, while supplementing its capabilities through collaborations with external experts and partner institutions.
Regarding future plans, Yang stated, “Our most critical goal is to proceed with mass production of the device through successful fundraising and to achieve market validation through PoC. Subsequently, we aim to secure references in B2B markets such as gyms, hotels, and wellness spaces, eventually expanding into the B2C market for home use.” She added, “Ultimately, I want aeacbio to grow into a real-time personalized infrastructure company that expands beyond skincare into customized healthcare, nutrition, and IV therapy.”
