MyungSoo Han, CEO of WANTATE
-Practical Problem Solving: Moves beyond simple consulting to provide ‘Gong-gan Sillok’ (The Space Archives), a definitive solution designed to resolve real-world leasing conflicts.
-Agreed-upon Documentation: Provides a service that establishes ‘mutually agreed records,’ allowing parties to immediately verify and explain conditions when disputes arise.
-Blockchain-Backed Trust: Implements a blockchain-based storage architecture to ensure the integrity of records and eliminate the risk of forgery or alteration.
WANTATE’s flagship solution, ‘Gong-gan Sillok’ is a comprehensive lease dispute prevention platform. Unlike traditional methods of merely storing photos on a smartphone, Gong-gan Sillok is engineered to consolidate lease details, verbal agreements, and spatial conditions into a single, integrated service. Users can document spaces before and after occupancy using standardized checklists, store agreements via voice and text, and ensure that both landlords and tenants have access to the identical dataset. Each record is categorized for immediate identification and facilitates seamless ‘before-and-after’ comparisons.
“Gong-gan Sillok is not just about leaving behind photos; it’s about creating ‘mutually agreed-upon records’ that can be used to immediately verify facts and provide explanations during a dispute”, said CEO MyungSoo Han. “Through this solution, we help landlords and tenants—especially small business owners who are often in a vulnerable position—manage and prevent disputes proactively.”
The competitive edge of Gong-gan Sillok lies in three key areas. First is its field-optimized functionality. The solution is designed around specific pain points where disputes frequently occur, including photo documentation, contract storage, verbal agreement logging, visual comparisons, and settlement reporting.
Second is the synergy between education and practical application. WANTATE is more than a technical team; they have directly engaged with small business owners and social organizations to provide AX transformation training and field implementation. This hands-on experience allows them to design features through a ‘user-problem-centric’ lens.
Third is its global scalability. While professional inventory and deposit dispute management might still be emerging in some sectors domestically, it is already a mature and vital market globally.
WANTATE plans to offer Gong-gan Sillok for free to small business owners while applying a subscription-based revenue model for property management firms. “Small business owners need dispute prevention the most but are often sensitive to costs. We believe lowering the entry barrier is essential”, Han explained. “Instead, we generate additional revenue by connecting users with maintenance and demolition firms and charge management companies subscription fees for using the platform as a repeatable operational tool.”
Furthermore, WANTATE plans to integrate marketing automation solutions essential for small business operations. Starting with resolving field-level disputes, the company aims to expand its structure to include operational efficiency, customer relationship management (CRM), and marketing automation.
Global expansion into Japan and the U.S. is also underway. Japan is viewed as an ideal market for initial Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives, as its dispute structures regarding restoration, deposits, and move-out settlements closely mirror those in Korea. For the U.S. market, which possesses a massive and highly systematic property management industry, WANTATE is preparing for long-term expansion through partnerships with local firms.
Regarding future goals, Han stated, “Our mission is to ensure that small business owners are no longer placed at a disadvantage due to a lack of documentation or information asymmetry.”
