ProRe Solution, An AI-Powered Healthcare SaaS Automating Workforce Management and Scheduling
ProRe Solution is an AI-powered healthcare SaaS company that automates roster creation and workforce operations for domestic and international medical institutions. Founded in June 2023 by CEO Yoo Gyong Park, the company aims to solve the complex scheduling issues faced by various medical professionals, including nurses, doctors, and residents.

The flagship solution, ‘DutyOn,’ is an AI-driven scheduling platform that automatically generates duty rosters based on a hospital’s specific workforce data.

“Previously, managers had to manually manage dozens of constraints using Excel, leading to significant inefficiencies where a single schedule change required a complete manual overhaul”, explained CEO Yoo Gyong Park. “DutyOn automates this entire process, generating complex rosters in under two minutes while validating constraints in real-time. Additionally, nurses can apply for shifts directly via mobile, and the system automatically generates mandatory reports for HIRA, significantly reducing the administrative burden. While we currently focus on the high-complexity needs of nursing departments, we plan to expand our scope to include doctors and residents.”

DutyOn differentiates itself by overcoming the structural limitations of traditional manual or Excel-based scheduling. Unlike Excel, which cannot automatically validate constraints or ensure perceived fairness among staff, DutyOn offers a unified operations solution. Its core strengths include rapid automated generation, real-time recalculation when changes occur, and the automation of complex administrative reporting, which integrates roster management with hospital administration.

ProRe Solution’s business model follows a dual-track approach: B2B SaaS for institutional adoption and a B2C model for individual healthcare professionals. The company provides hospitals with a subscription-based SaaS that handles organizational scheduling and HIRA reporting. Simultaneously, it offers a service where individual nurses can manage their own schedules, building a strong user base from the bottom up. This ‘Bottom-up Expansion Strategy’ allows the company to secure users even before official hospital-wide adoption, facilitating easier transitions to organizational contracts.

“Over the past year, we focused on deeply understanding the actual problems in the field”, Park noted. “We met with over 230 hospital managers to analyze pain points in workforce management, confirming a clear demand for automation to replace Excel. Through this process, we secured early-stage interest and completed our MVP based on an AI scheduling engine. We are currently in discussions and proceeding with a Proof of Concept (PoC) with Kyung Hee University Medical Center.”

Regarding future objectives, Park stated, “In the short term, our goal is to establish DutyOn as the standard solution for automated medical scheduling across all domestic healthcare institutions.”
