제네바 실 인증을 받은 새로운 역작 9454 MC 더블 투르비옹 미스터리외 무브먼트가 상상을 현실로 바꿔놓았다. 마치 중력의 법칙을 거스르듯 두 차례에 걸쳐 허공 위로 날아오르는 더블 투르비옹 미스터리외는 근대 마술의 아버지라 불리는 장-외젠 로베르-우댕(Jean-Eugene Robert-Houdin)의 트릭에서 아이디어를 얻어 공중 부양의 환상을 연출했다.

아찔할 정도로 아름답고 공기처럼 가벼워 보이는 이 제품은 허공에 떠 있는 핸즈에서 시선을 뗄 수 없는 것다. 사파이어 디스크 간 마찰을 줄이기 위해 기어 휠처럼 가느다란 축을 중심으로 회전시키는 방법을 채택했고, 다양한 부품들을 최적의 환경에서 쉽게 조립할 수 있도록 모듈러 방식에 주안점을 두었다. 특히, 무브먼트의 지름 중 58%를 사파이어 디스크에 할애하는 방법으로 미스터리 디스플레이의 한계를 뛰어넘어 기록적인 수준의 가독성을 실현했다.

미스터리 클락

완벽하게 동일한 외관을 지닌 두 개의 시계는 주얼러가 조작한 전도된 반사광이 매력적이다. 부드러운 유백색 보석인 화이트 쿼츠 또는 천상의 보석이라 불리는 흑요석으로 선보인다. 다이얼 주변에 상감세공을 한 자개나 흑요석은 다이아몬드와 함께 그레이 컬러에서 화이트 컬러에 이르기까지 다양한 빛을 발산하며, 뒷면에는 별 무리가 골드로 수놓아져 있다.
